Senior UX Researcher

THE ROLE

As a Senior UX Researcher, your primary responsibility will be to define, plan and deliver user research for multiple products simultaneously and set the standard for user research at BI X. You will conduct usability research both online and in the field and provide recommendations for our initiatives. As a Senior UX Researcher you are responsible for designing quantitative and qualitative research approaches. You will work closely with our UX Designers in delivering compelling insights to the product teams. You will also be tasked with being an advocate for the product’s value as well as the value of user research in addressing the product’s needs.

You should be an entrepreneurial self-starter who is curious about people and their behavior as well as a strong team player. Furthermore, you have the ability to think beyond the research to get a glimps of the true meaning behind human actions. You also inspire your peers and more junior team members to learn and expand their skill set.

PREREQUISITES

  • Master’s degree with an emphasis on research methods (e.g. in social sciences, cognitive science, psychology, or a related field) or equivalent practical experience

  • At least of 5 years professional experience as a UX researcher (preferably at a consumer focused company)

  • English working proficiency and communication skills (verbal and written)

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

  • Excellence in the use of user research qualitative and quantitative methods

  • Profound experience in planning, conducting and communicating user research and usability testing also

  • Ability to synthesize quantitative data with qualitative research

  • Excellent understanding of human psychology and behavior psychology

  • Evangelist and strong advocate of user centred approach in product development

NON-TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

  • You posesses strong communication, presentation and personal skills to convince your colleagues and your audience for your ideas.

  • Analytical and organized mindset is your second nature to work out profound user research and structure your daily business effectively.

  • You love to work with people and interviewing them 1on1 and interacting with a crowd is a thrill to you.
