We presently are searching for a Digital Designer within our Creative Services department. This position is responsible for bringing brand and marketing initiatives to life, particularly in the digital field. The digital designer will act as a support to the Creative Services team and its clients for all digital media deliverables and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain forward-thinking philosophy and ability to propel the team to the forefront of digital innovation
- Research and document new digital creative processes; ensure these processes are applied
- Train designers on new digital creative processes as needed
- Collaborate with team to create/maintain responsive email creative and HTML5 banner ad templates
- Design and code original email creative and banner ads
- Work with in-house designers to interpret their creative vision into digital animation
- Work with contract designers to execute digital production as needed
- Uphold quality assurance and brand compliance by reviewing proofs and final files prior to distribution
- Work with digital publications, creative operations, clients, and digital team to analyze media buys and ensure all specifications are clearly defined and attainable
- Understand technical side of digital advertising and communicate findings to all stakeholders
- Provide technical support to clients and designers as needed
- Special projects or other duties as assigned
Qualified candidates will have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in digital design, or related field
- 2-3 years of work experience in digital advertising production required
- Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver
- Experience with Google Web Designer and DoubleClick a plus
- Knowledge in HTML5/CSS/JavaScript
- Experience in producing responsive HTML5 banner ads and email creative
- Experience in developing HTM5 rich media banner ads
- Self-motivated and efficient attitude
- Innovative mindset. Enjoy working in code, and understand design
- Real-world digital creative examples showcasing experience in code and HTML5 banner ad animation strongly preferred
